COLUMBIA CHRISTIAN COLLEGE presents the Newcomers – eight young Christian students dedicated to spreading good news through song. Holding firm convictions in Jesus Christ, the Newcomers are typical of the college they represent.

ARCHIE W. LUPER is the sponsor of this record album. Mr. Luper is a member of the Board of Trustees of Columbia Christian College, Portland, Oregon, and actively supports the ideals and purposes for which the college stands. An outstanding man in his profession, Mr. Luper was named to the American Restaurant Magazine Hall of Fame. He has carefully studied the finest eating establishments, having completed three trips around the world to make extensive studies of the restaurant and hotel business.

Mr. Luper is Chairman of the Board of Luper Enterprises, Inc., Ventura, California, and today operates ten restaurants with a total of 2,000 seats, a 320-seat cafeteria, a 600 seat cafeteria and a wholesale and retail bakery. Archie W. Luper is recognized as an outstanding West Coast business man and serves on the Board of Trustees of the Restaurant Association and also the State Bank. He has been chosen to serve as Chairman of the Ventura County Heart Association Fund Campaign for 1971 and is in constant demand as a speaker and civic worker.
